About: KMC Chains
KMC was founded in Taiwan in 1977 and has been growing dramatically ever since. The company has been devoted to the production of professional bicycle chains throughout its existance. KMC is one of the largest chain manufacturers and suppliers in the world currently producing 150,000,000 meters of chain each year.In 1986 KMC signed an agreement to make chains for Shimano which is still in place so even if you haven't heard of KMC before it could be that you have been riding a KMC built chain for many years. From ultra light weight titanium nitride coated 10 speed compatable models, through anti rust commuter favorites and single speed or hub gear specific models KMC are sure to have the right chain for your cycle.
KMC have very high quality control and indepth in house testing not only of new chains under developement but of existing chains too. The attention to deal is suberb - check out the detail of how the X10SL Gold is light yet durable. KMC ensures that the inside as well as the outside of each link is fully coated in protective material thus lengthening the service life of the chain.
